I began my career with the City of Los Angeles in 2002 as a Public Works Assistant Inspector. Over the years, I advanced through the ranks to Building, Senior, Principal, and Chief Inspector before being promoted to Assistant Deputy Superintendent of Building. Since becoming a manager in 2018, I have worked closely with personnel and HR-related leadership on workforce and organizational matters. I have been a PSHRA Senior Certified Professional (SCP) since 2020. Prior to that, I attended BYU and CSUN where I studied journalism.

Originally hailing from Eastern PA and currently residing outside of Nashville, TN, Courtney has spent much of the last decade in public sector HR management in 2 different states. Her passion is the intersection of people and technology, focusing on process improvement, servant leadership, and “working smarter.” Her current role as the HR Director for the City of Gallatin allows her to serve the employees and managers that serve the citizens of “Gracious, Growing Gallatin,” with the emphasis on service which is part of her personal mission. Another focus of her personal mission is to shed light on the value of neurodiversity and neurodiverse individuals in the workplace.

June has been a Human Resources Professional for over 20 years. She has worked in various government entities and is currently the Assistant Director of Human Resources for the City of Margate. June earned a Ph.D. in Management and is a part-time faculty member with the University of the West Indies and Colorado State University Global campuses.
